Please ensure you do the following before beginning lodgement.

Please note: 

  • It is important to follow all registry requirements to avoid requisition, delay and payment of additional fees.
  • Ensure you can access the email address you are using for this lodgement. You’ll need it to receive your verification code and, if your lodgement is requisitioned, to upload your requisition response via TED.
  • If you fail to comply with any of our requirements, your dealing may be requisitioned. Please consult our Guides to Common Transactions page.  For more information, see Part 60-0010 of the Land Title Practice Manual.

Please ensure you have the following on hand before returning a requisition.

  • Attend to the matters outlined in the requisition notice
  • Have your dealing number and documents ready
  • You must have access to the email address used for the original lodgement. TED will send a verification code to this address before you can upload your requisition response.

TED is available for the purpose of lodging documents and returning requisitions between:​

Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm AEST, excluding QLD public holidays.​

Important Information

TED calculates a base fee. Before you pay, make sure to check via the fee calculator. Payment of incorrect fees will result in requisition and delay.

Titles Electronic Drop Box (TED) FAQs

TED will have 8 dealing types available for lodgement:

  • Form 4 – Request to Record of Death
  • Form 14 – Change of Name (Individual)
  • Form 14 – Change of Name (Company)
  • Form 14 – Correction of Owner Details
  • Form 14 – Correction of Company Name
  • Form 14 – Appointment of Administrator
  • Form 14 – Change of Body Corporate Address
  • Form 5/5A – Transmission by Death (Grant Issued)

eLodgement accepts more dealing types and can be used by property industry professionals who regularly lodge documents with Titles Queensland. Find out more about eLodgement here.

TED is designed for use by individuals who are self-representing, to lodge a limited selection of single-party dealings.  

Professional lodgers must lodge mandated instruments via eConveyancing as the primary lodgement channel, unless a valid exemption applies. 

If eConveyancing is not suitable, eLodgement should be used as the alternative.

The verification code was sent to the email address provided during lodgement. Please check your original records to confirm the address and ensure you check your spam folder.

If you still haven’t received it, a new verification code can be requested in TED.

The requisition notice will advise how your dealing is to be returned.

Where the return method differs from the original lodgement method, this will be clearly outlined in the notice.

TED is powered by Titles Queensland’s Automated Titling System, the same system which has kept the Titles Registry secure since 1994.

No, you don’t need to sign up or create an account to use TED. You will be asked to verify your email each time you lodge via TED.

Property industry professionals regularly lodging documents can sign up to eLodgement to manage their dealings.

There is no additional cost to using TED.

Standard lodgement fees associated with your dealings still apply.

TED accepts credit card payments.

During the lodgement process, you will be directed to our secure payment portal to pay for your transaction.

No – the lodger will be prompted to review their lodgement before finalising their submission in TED.

Using TED will allow you to lodge a dealing or return a requisition directly into our system, removing any delays associated with post. Our standard client service timeline for correctly lodged titling instruments is five business days.

Yes – our processing times have not changed.

All requisition enquiries and extension requests must be emailed to [email protected] using the Requisition Enquiry template to outline your request.

No, TED is a web-based service that can be accessed through a standard web browser on your desktop, tablet, or smart phone. To submit documents, we recommend using a scanner to create clear digital copies.

TED accepts PDF and TIFF file formats only, with a maximum file size of 15 MB per file.

All original documents (including supporting evidence) MUST be retained after submission.

Titles Queensland will never ask you to destroy original identity or supporting documents (such as passports, driver licences, or marriage certificates).

No. Only requisitions you receive after TED is launched can be returned via TED.

Dealings that can’t be lodged in TED must be lodged through one of our other lodgement channels. You can view our lodgement options on this page.

TED allows a maximum of 3 dealings to be lodged at a time.

For security reasons, do not email the completed credit card form to Titles Queensland. Credit card payment forms sent this way will be rejected.

You can lodge documents by posting the document along with payment to:

You must include a credit card payment request form (print version) (PDF) / credit card payment request form (online fillable) (PDF) or a cheque or money order made out to ‘Titles Queensland’. AMEX cards are not accepted.

All mail undergoes security screening prior to delivery to Titles Queensland.  Documentation received through registered post may take an additional 24-48 hours to process notwithstanding Australia Post delivery confirmation.

Industry professionals can lodge ‘required instruments’ in paper via post if an exemption applies to them and a completed Exemption Request Form (ERF) is included.
